But if you start at Littletown, onto Catbells, and then drift up onto Maiden Moor and High Spy... and then down to the tarn, Dale Head Tarn, and up the nicely pitched path onto Dale Head, that marvellous cairn, and you get a wonderful view north towards Skidder in the distance, skirt round onto Hindscarth, and dip down onto Scopen, where the heather is, and that is absolutely majestic, and come down by the chapel in the valley, and it's a wonderful day, scenic in every dimension, because you've got the view to the south from Hindscarth towards High Stile, all those magic places

yeah that is an absolute classic isn't it is that the right way around to do it do you think i wonder if it's maybe better to go up hind scar first i suppose actually the merit of your way is those little scrambles up cat bells which particularly in wet weather you'd rather be ascending

David FeltonHOST

There's plenty of places to stop for a drink, cup of tea, cake or whatever en route, including Lodol Falls Hotel, obviously, if you really want to.
David FeltonHOST

But equally, there's loads of little coffee vans now around the Catbells area.

And if you fancy something a little bit fancier, you can go to Lingholm with its walled garden.

What we did yesterday, right at the end, is we looked at a lovely picture of Keswick in the sun.
Adrian ReynoldsGUEST
6:40
Remember the sun? Yeah, it was only yesterday, wasn't it? So here's a picture from the top of Cat Bells looking back towards Keswick.
Adrian ReynoldsGUEST
6:47
And I asked you yesterday, do you remember, what does you think about God when you see that picture? What do you think about God? And some of the answers were that God is amazing.
Adrian ReynoldsGUEST
6:58
God is powerful.

Catbells, yes.
Adrian ReynoldsGUEST

Or it's actually from a drone, I think, above Catbells.
Adrian ReynoldsGUEST
48:47
But it's looking back down towards the town of Keswick.

If you could see the sky, you would see the halo, 'cause it's convention time, so you see the godliness kind of in the sky.

It might be as dramatic as Job, where God sh-shows up in the storm.
Eric OrtlundGUEST

It might be a dramatic time of prayer up on Catbells, you know.
