And then over on our Discord, Keith Burton writes, The Fifth Doctor era was one I lived through as a young fan.

There were massive highs in popularity from Castrovalva all the way through to The Five Doctors.

But looking at it objectively, it's hard to argue it was an era that didn't know what it wanted to be.

J&T knew what he didn't want it to be, but he needed a strong voice in the room to give the stories and characters form.

But I think when I bought Doctor Who weekly, you know, but I wasn't a hardcore fan.

I became a hardcore fan with Castrovalva, you know, because that's what I love about Doctor Who.

You know, they're the great jumping on points, you know, a new Doctor.

And so I thought, right, OK, I can, you know, this is kind of year zero for me.

It's the TARDIS crew walking around in a lovely sunny day.

For that reason, I guess you could also have Castrovalva.

I mean, there's quite a few sunny days.

But part of that is I really like the story.
