So at age 10, living in Castine, Maine, with the sea right at her doorstep and access to her father's boats, Maeve decides she is gonna be the next Alvilda.

I love that energy.

The source material realizes that to explain the phantom noises and the unbearable weight of November, it has to show us what the world looked like before the bond was severed.

This plunges us into the past.

We jump back to July 1995 in Castine, Maine.

And I got to play the pirate king, which was really great.

It's a lot of fun.

I think we talked to you when we were in our second year in Massachusetts leasing land from a family on a kind of short-term lease.

And then we ended up Coming to a property in Castine, Maine with my wife's sister and our brother-in-law and going in on a property with them where we lease a house that's on the property in the farmland from them.

And so it's a new arrangement that feels like a lot more secure for the farm, which is good, especially with kids.

And it has been a learning curve getting used to growing in a very different environment here.
