Donald Trump doesn't like the way he was portrayed in a BBC documentary, and so he sued them over it.

And now there's a fight over whether Cassidy Hutchinson, the executive assistant who courageously testified against Donald Trump and his plans to, uh, stop the peaceful transfer of power.

She had been an executive assistant within the White House and had the vantage point, a fly on the wall, to observe Donald Trump's actions e- or non-actions in the dining room when he ignored the attack, conversations that she had with the Secret Service chief about Donald Trump's actions inside of that SUV, and lots of other testimony.

She gave 30 hours of testimony, which is now public.

And the issue before Judge Koontz, and I'm gonna talk about Judge Koontz in a minute 'cause he's got a connection to Donald Trump, the new federal judge appointed and sitting in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

His new ruling is, uh, while the BBC is not gonna be able to subpoena her for deposition, they are able to use her 30 hours of sworn testimony should they need it.

And if things change in the case, like he grants the BBC's motion to dismiss the case because they shouldn't be sued in Florida, or they, he doesn't grant the motion to dismiss, he will revisit the issue as to whether Cassidy Hutchinson or anybody like her can be forced to testify.

As of right now, he sees it as a bit of a fishing expedition, and he wants the parties to focus on the speech and the defamation.

We, uh, we're doing it 'cause, uh, c- uh, we do s- we do some follow-up January 6th stuff.

So this involves Cassidy Hutchinson, who was an important player, uh, in, in the, in J- January 6th investigations, and has been a, a, as a result, uh, uh, reportedly an important target in, in sort of retribution campaigns that, uh, uh, uh, but, but anyway, her initial lawyer was Stefan, uh, Pas- Passantino, who was, uh, sort of, uh, provided by the, um, Trump-aligned, uh, group, uh, groups.

And, um, uh, he represented her in three depositions before the ju- uh, Senate, uh, before the Select Committee, uh, investigating, uh, January 6th.

And, um, then she, uh, f- fired him and gave a fourth deposition, which was televised, and you probably saw that.

he tweeted, um, he referred to him as the one who coached her, meaning Cassidy Hutchinson, to lie, and Passantino, Passantino sued.

Um, and so the, um, [lip smack] uh, that suit was thrown out this week on a, uh, on the pleadings.

A blast, it is said, from the recent past.

Ex-White House aide Cassidy Hutchinson's testimony said, The January 6th committee still reverberates four years later.

How so? Yesterday, and this was a while ago now, federal judge in D.C.

handed a defeat to former Hutchinson attorney Stephan Passantino in his defamation lawsuit against former federal prosecutor and legal commentator Andrew Weissman.

The man shot and detained by ICE in Austin is now partly paralyzed.

The looks maxing influencer Clavicular has been charged with rape in Massachusetts, and a judge has dismissed a lawsuit brought by Cassidy Hutchinson's crooked lawyer against Andrew Weissmann.

A federal judge on Monday dismissed a defamation lawsuit brought by Stefan Passantino.

Stefan's a former lawyer for one-time White House aide Cassidy Hutchinson, and that's against MS Now legal analyst and law professor Andrew Weissmann.

In a 15-page order, US District Judge Lauren Alicon granted Weissmann's motion for judgment on the pleadings in the case Passantino brought over based on a September 2023 social media post in which the legal analyst suggested Passantino, and I s- and I quote, "coached Hutchinson to lie" during her closed-door deposition before the House January 6th Committee.
