Casey Tibbs

There's a

wonderful book that was written about Casey Tibbs by a guy named Rusty Richards.

I'm a huge Casey Tibbs fan.

I saw Casey once.

Well, it's an interesting comment that he made about Audie.

Peter, I'm not trying to make any other point.

I'm just making this one particular point.

It did say in the book, again, on Casey Tibbs, that Audie Murphy was awarded 37 medals, including the Congressional Medal of Honor.

My Uncle Joe Marvel, he won a world title back in the '80s, and my Uncle Mike and my Uncle Pete also rode, rode broncs as well.

Yeah, and, uh, people that are bronc riders, I mean, y- you hear of Casey Tibbs and names like that, but the Marvel name is right along there with them as far as some of the legends and the greats in the bronc riding world.

Yes.

Yes.

Harvey, of course, owns the art gallery here.

We've had them go down and look at their artwork and really begin to think about how do you move everything from the smaller, what you would call maquette-sized pieces, to the Casey Tibbs sculpture, which is sitting outside there at the hall.

And it's huge, you know, it's just a monument piece.

And so none of this is going to happen overnight.
