I think some of that though is when you have three edge guys out there, what are they, who they counting as what? I don't know if they just count number of defensive backs on the field.

Okay, so I always thought, what's harder for Casey Hampton, to stay in and get a snap or have to sprint 35 yards to the sideline, you know, get a quick drink of water, and then they pick up a first down and you've got to sprint 35 yards back onto the field to play nose tackle on first and 10? So, I don't know.

That's an easy question.

I like that.

I like the sound of that because again, I think the whole point of having a nose tackle and again, nose tackle doesn't mean, you know, necessarily it's just, it's the three, four guys, the Casey Hampton, the guy that plugs in usually lines up right over the center.

And they've tried that with Keanu Benton for years.

It hasn't really worked.

And Vita is one of those guys that can play all three downs.

So he's not your typical Casey Hampton type of nose where he's just the first and second down guy.

Typically, you don't have those noses run sideline to sideline, but Vita can run sideline to sideline.

Like, "Nah, when we, we gotta get our team goals, and then I'll get my individual stuff." So that's gotta be separate, it's gotta be secondary.

To his point about being unselfish, I was talking to Casey Hampton, right? Leg- legendary, like we talk about.

Great, uh, one of the greatest players in the history of, of Texas football, and a great player in the NFL.

And he's told, he told us that when he was with the Pittsburgh Steelers that, you know, he led, he led Texas in tackling.

Yeah.

And then he won Super Bowls and became, he's on the all-time Ste- Steelers team, everything else.

To his point about being unselfish, Casey Hampton led Texas in tackles m- two years in a row.

Do you know what he could've done at the NFL level? He could've been a freak, like, at the D tackle position, but he didn't choose to leave the Steelers and, like, go for super fancy so he can have a, pad the stats.
