I don't like it's a dog leg now.

I think the tee box right in front of the hotel where you could sit and watch it right there and you hit in right this narrow kind of straight through with this five-story dune at the back where the... green is i loved it it was on my favorite golf holes ever now it's off my list um but you know i i did like doom bag and i i think it's cool i think i love i love the irish open having different venues um not delighted it's going back to the cake club where it was on this cake the you know carton house cake i think it's been there enough i'd love to see it around everywhere i understand why it doesn't i get that but i'd love to i like for example i I'm going to say to you, 2026, Doonbeg, and you're like,

Kildare is somewhere that has lots of, you know, great hotels, loads of accommodation too, Joan.

Lots of stately mansions as well and stately homes that have become... hotels, places like Carton House.

Carton House actually has two amazing golf courses.

It's on 1,100 acres.

And even if you couldn't afford to stay there, I'd highly recommend popping in for a cup of tea or have a drink in the bar.

i was gonna say it got you to the states yeah but um i want to i do want to touch on the states with you a little bit because i'm always quite interested because i went there as well but just you know when you're growing up around those guys um and you're competing i'm not saying week in week out but let's say in the summer season you're competing with them a lot um are you aware are you aware of of their abilities did it did it give you any sort of mindset of like oh am i am i am i am i good enough against these guys am i better than these guys you know how did it how did it or do you are you so young that you just think it's just normal well no that is a good question because you

you find like even under 15 so you'd have had the summer championships with them but then you'd also had like winter training with them whether that was at Carton House or there was a place near home.

But I can remember Rory, and we're literally 13, 14 years old, and obviously all pretty decent, and he could just, I always remember him being able to He was kind of like the showman and stuff that he could do.

You know, the training was on a football pitch and we were trying to hit the crossbar down at the end.

He'll be listening to this, by the way, so he'll know.

So, basically, it was Carton House, Ireland training.

So, it was kind of on the GUI at the time, now Golf Ireland.
