which is a good thing.

But, you know, you have teams like Carson Newman, Tuscaloosa, UVA Wise.

And then if you throw, even if you throw in Lenore Ryan and Catawba, that's within, you know, that three-hour radius.

You know, you can have a few games where you can get up on, you can get up on Mars Hills right down the road as well.

And I think our kids are going to do a great job adjusting, going back and forth.

I mean, we got...

You know, not trying to go in the future, but, you know, we got to see that again when we play Carson Newman.

So, you know, that's a fun part about the sack is you never know what kind of offense is going to show up when that ball is kicked.

But I can't wait for it.

If you want to go play Carson Newman, I'll go watch it, and I'll break it down.

You know what I mean? You can play Pellissippi College, and that may be nobody to you, but it's somebody to me.

So I'm fired up for some football.

And that's something that lower levels do.

When I was at Carson Newman, we had a couple Thursday night games.

I think Carson Newman this year has already played three Thursday night games.

I mean, that's just something that a lot of lower level teams do.

I got to be honest with you, though.

Livingston State and Western Carolina played to a 14-14 tie.

Carson Newman lost to Elon 16-9 and Drake defeated Northern Iowa 24-14.

And number 10, Fresno State tied Cal Poly 24-24.

Jackson State defeated Southern University 21-17.

They had a proclamation that was read at her service, and it's Christy Kirk Day.

So I ran with it, and I said to myself, how do I honor my mother? My mom always said if she could have gone back, she would have started a scholarship in honor of my father when he passed away with him running a track in Carson-Newman.

And so I felt like it was like God planting a seed in me when we had the conversation.

So I ran with it and kind of blended what I had and what she said to me.
