Somebody tried to do it recently with my daughter's green light.

So, you know, like, all right, so I don't know if you guys don't have kids.

Nowadays, especially in, you know, in 2026, like, now...

Kids can have what's called a green light.

I'll tell you this.

My kids always, like, unless they're, like, you know, if they're going to dress up and go to the football game or something.

But, like, on a daily basis, they, like, of their choices, both of them, every single day, put on New Balance.

And now the draft is over.

They also agreed to a deal with Carson Cooper, which hasn't happened yet.

A big man, Carson Cooper, mainly because the Grizzlies are like, they can't sign anyone right now.

They, they had the big theme of this rosters of this Grizzlies roster situations that they're all constantly maxing out the amount of players they can have and where most teams right now are signing guys to camp deals.

The Grizzlies can't even do that while they sort out, uh, like what they're going to do with D'Angelo Russell and, uh, the guys they brought in from the Pelicans.

They can't even sign Carson Cooper or, uh, Richie Saunders, their second round pick.

I, which I, and I know he's injured.

So I think it's possible.

And then, you know, this is just a roster that... with the tom iso style of not necessarily needing the three ball to be successful they're still going to be really good on the glass i think that we also underrate cohen carr as a rebounder with his athleticism and the fact that he's not hanging around three-point line that much there is a lot of guys here with internal development especially jordan scott and cam ward where i i do think that There might not be.

I mean, this time last year, we were like, how are they going to shoot? Because Jackson Kohler can't shoot and Carson Cooper is not an offensive weapon.

Well, guess what? Jackson Kohler learned how to shoot and Carson Cooper became an offensive weapon.

And I have no reason to believe that that will change with new players, especially given they were all pretty good as freshmen, those two especially.

Those two also got all the misses, or a vast majority of the misses, right? Do you trust Anton Bonk to suddenly replace that production for the two of them in

And then shout out to Matt Sheehan, Locked On Spartans.

He actually had Carson Cooper on a recent interview.

And, of course, Carson Cooper was at Grind Week, his first Grind Week as a Spartan alum.

Now no longer a part of the team.

And they kind of went through the normal, what was it like? How did it go? But what I really want to hear, and again, shout out to Sheehan, is what he thought of the new guys coming in.

It's funny to say that, but it's true.

Carson Cooper also mentioned Ethan Taylor has impressed him a lot.

Suddenly their questions are at center.

You know, no Carson Cooper, no Jackson Kohler walking through the door.

Is, is Bonk gonna be the guy that actually figures it out for Tumis? Um, I'm skeptical there, and I don't know if they can climb all the way to number one in the country, but they seem like such a stable floor.

I don't know.

The Carson Cooper two-way contract, which has been reported, is still not official.

He's not signed.

They can only add one more guy right now to hit their max of 21.

So they have a roster crunch just for training camp.

Like, who's going to be the last body allowed in training camp? Are they going to buy out D'Angelo Russell? I would say probably yes.

They get rid of D'Angelo Russell before training camp, and then maybe we will see the two-way signings of Carson Cooper and possibly Richie Saunders.

Also, I think it's useful perhaps just to look at the depth chart a little bit.

I think that as – well, of course they did it in the sloppiest way possible where it was after the NFL and NBA drafts, and now we're seeing all these – Courts get involved and, you know, of course, it couldn't possibly be straightforward.

But anyways, I do think these guys like Jackson Kohler, like honestly, like Carson Cooper, like some of these dudes in the NFL that are now starting to come back.

They deserve this fifth year.

So as messy as it is, I like the outcome.

The reason why that's happening is not because he.

He said, I'm coming back and I'm going somewhere else.

It's because he – the same reason that Carson Cooper is not coming back to Michigan State.

Cooper has just decided to stick it out in an NBA camp.
