Yeah, over at Screamscape, the guy who runs that, Lance, he went to the Conjuring universe over at Scarowinds, which is what they call the Halloween event at Carowinds over at the Carolinas.

And he was like, the Conjuring house is the best I've ever been in.

So, yeah.

Brett says, I didn't know you were ever in San Juan.

And when are you going to report back on the Carowinds trip? That's the thing.

Carowinds is today.

I'm going today.

And it's eight years since I was at a theme park.

That'll be the meat of today's episode.

Keith's going to the theme park Carowinds in North Carolina today with the last theme park visit being eight years ago.

King's Island and Carowinds are the only ones without RMCs.

Correct.

Plus, some would argue that King's Island, while it has a great collection of coasters, it doesn't have anything that people will call, you know, best in the world.

Honestly, they have how many coasters, but if Fury 325 is closed, don't go.

I think that's the thing.

Carowinds desperately needs another headliner.

They need a headliner more than any other Six Flags park, in my opinion.

That's right, you are gonna get 30 to 40 new credits potentially this week.

I'm gonna get about maybe 20 to 30, 'cause I've already done Carowinds and Dollywood.

Yeah, you just haven't done Kings and Cedar Point.

Yeah.

They do not have anything big new planned for this year, so it would make sense that they would be doing something for 2028.

Carowinds, I think, is a great fit, but they've got that Ripworm Falls going in for this year, so it's not one of their top theme parks in terms of attendance.

Would you really want to go with two big pushes in two consecutive years there? Or maybe that's what you need to do if you're trying to make a push to put Carowinds into the top echelon.

And when we think about the Charlotte, North Carolina metro area, the growth there, there's no reason why Carowinds couldn't be one of the top 20 attended theme parks in North America today.

and maybe a one-two punch of doing major new attractions there two years in a row might be what the Six Flags management sees is what that park needs to make that leap.

I don't know.

It's been a long time since they built one, though.

If that's not the case, then obviously not should be focusing on getting Jaguar out of the paint and putting in an actual good family roller coaster.

Georgia would be, I think it would be a really cool homage for it to be a Georgia.

Since it's 6'5", confirmed, I mean, I guess, Carowinds is flat as fuck, and you don't use that overflow by, like I said, where that second entrance is, where you're walking down by Afterburn.

It's never used.

That program was never used, so you may as well put a coaster there and extend the aeronautical landing, and you can keep a lot of the theming.

Like, not have it be airy.

I don't know.

Anyways, Carowinds is a pretty big place for it to go.

People are saying Great Adventure.

But it's always fun to get outside our comfort zone of theaters and see what other venues are doing.

We'll be also at the Carowinds Amusement Park.

And we have their head of F&B that is going to be able to walk us around and give us a tour.

It's closed at that time, which is even better because we can kind of get to the nitty gritty.
