Carova Beach

Yeah, well, I will tell you that, Opie, you are 1000% correct.

The 4x4 beach in North Carolina on the Outer Banks up by Corova and Corolla Light and all of that is fucking amazing.

That's amazing, huh? Absolutely amazing.

It's definitely well worth it.

But this year so far, it's been a very [laughs] good year.

Our listeners would love to hear the story we were talking about earlier, a leatherback moment up in the 4x4 Carova-

[laughs]

...

The, uh, we haven't had a leatherback in our area since 2009.

We, we are, uh, we're, we're at the northern edge of sea turtle nesting habitat in general, and leatherbacks, you know, in particular.

Uh, so it was very exciting when, when, uh, we had, we found the leatherback on the beach, uh, in Carova.

How rare is, is that? I mean, like, y- obviously very rare.
