Carolee Schneemann

It's very feminist strategy.

I mean, just today in my, you know, my, my seminar, we were talking about Carolee Schneeman and her interior scroll, where she basically wrote a manifesto after having been invited to a film festival and she's a filmmaker, but the film is, curators or the jury invited her to do a performance because they said, Oh, we really think of you as a dancer because she was a woman and because she was beautiful.

And she said, okay.

And so she got up to do her dance and proceeded to pull and read a manifesto out of her vagina and where again, it begins as one thing and then turns into a very different thing.
