Carlsbad High School

The strange disappearance of Eric Sears.

On July 14th 2004, friends and recent graduates of Carlsbad High School in California, 17 year olds Eric Sears and Ben Fogelstrom decided to go on a camping trip together in Joshua Tree National Park.

The two of them showed up to their campsite in Jumbo Rocks and were just having a good time.

They were turned away from the San Jacinto due to wildfires.

Unfortunately, there is no further information on this case and Joshua Jones remains missing.

Um, and it's run by two of the high school, uh, tackle football coaches, uh, here in Carlsbad.

So it's, it's kind of like a, you know, it's a huge community effort, uh, to put this on, but a lot of these kids end up going to Carlsbad High School and end up, you know, kind of graduating, so to speak, into tackle football.

And so it's, it's, um, it's just a big kind of, uh, community opportunity to learn the sport, um, to gather on Friday nights, and to, uh, really find some of the best athletes in North County and, and, uh, hone in on their skills.

And so it's, uh, it started here, uh, for us at least, in, uh, North County San Diego.

Grainger, for the ones who get it done.
