Carlos Harvey

It's not like usual when he has to fly to Easter Island and then take a boat and two speed boats or whatever to, to get home to New Zealand to play in these friendlies and these Oceania friendlies that they have sometimes.

Just had to go to Japan for this one to, of all things, play Panama and Carlos Harvey in Yokohama, a game that took place at 1:00 in the morning Minnesota time, which ended on penalties with Michael Boxall scoring the winning penalty after Carlos Harvey had converted his own for Panama in the shootout.

And boy, if you wanna talk about fever dreams, that's about as fever dream as you'll get in terms of international stuff.

Um, the other guy who's on international duty, sort of normal international duty, is Nectarios Triantas with Greece.

Important to note, by the way, Minnesota is missing three players to international duty.

in the form of Carlos Harvey, Peter Stroud, and Nektarios Triantris.

So Minnesota missing three, where Seattle's just missing Dan Jovovich.

I'm going to go Caden Clark.

Um, but at the end of the day, this is a team that is going to come in hungry and wanting to get some points.

Uh, Minnesota will be without Carlos Harvey.

Uh, there's, uh, Randall, uh, Rysnovich, Alex Meir, and Triantis, which Triantis is a very important player for this Minnesota team.

Now, they're obviously a team that's going to want to play off of set pieces.

Backup goalkeeper Alex Murr is with Jordan.

Midfielder slash defender slash chaos agent Carlos Harvey is with Panama.

And midfielder Nektarios Triantis is off with Greece in their Nations League campaign.

So...

this is the team that is going to have to do it for Minnesota.

And they're going to have to figure out how to do it.

Missing important players in Pereira and Triantis and Harvey.

And even Alex Murr, if something happens to Drake calendar, we saw it earlier in the season with, uh, concussion incidents that ended up meaning that Smear had to come in and play the second half of a game.

The team announced international call-ups.

So Minnesota United will be sending Carlos Harvey to international duty with Panama.

Mm-hmm.

They play on Saturday, so Carlos Harvey will not be at the Seattle game.

No, he won't.

Nor will Nektar Triantis.

And then with Michael Boxall out with yellow card accumulation, Morris Duggan is back from injury as the central center back.

Nicholas Romero does have to step up, play at the left center back position.

I think Diaz did need a breather.

So Carlos Harvey comes in for one of his few starts on the season.

This guy played in the world cup.

I mean, I think he could be getting more minutes in this team.

Kyle Duncan on the red.

So our back line, we don't know if Morris Duggan's going to be ready.

Our back line could be DJ Taylor, Jefferson Diaz, Carlos Harvey, Nicholas Romero, Ant Markant.

It could be a whole new back line against the Galaxy in terms of like playing together.

I mean...

Carlos Harvey played in the World Cup this summer.

So he was a guy who was way better than this league.

But then you look at the teams 2024, 2025, 2026.
