Carlos Corberán

Yeah, I spoke to him, uh, I'll have to try and get him on the pod, actually.

I, uh, I interviewed him not that long ago when he was at Valencia as the assistant manager to Carlos Corberán.

So there's that link there.

Carlos Corberán, of course, did so brilliantly at Huddersfield.

You know, he, he was number two with Corberán for, for, uh, a couple of clubs, and he, he's doing, doing terrific work.

I think that you look at the recruitment was quite ambitious, uh, but also smart.

But I think w- where teams have done well against, against us, we, we do like to play out from the back.

N- Not as slowly as we did when Carlos Corberán was manager.

Mm-hmm.

But, um, uh, the team who we were not gonna mention again-

Um, but with hindsight, to be fair, I think my first choice was probably a bit unrealistic anyway.

I was thinking sort of Carlos Corberán, Steve Cooper.

I was thinking if, if we could get one of those, that'd be really exciting.

Um, but once I realized that they were a bit, you know, unrealistic, I think the options outside of them weren't actually like that great.

Justin Peach, who?

Carlos Corberán.

So just very quickly, this is what I meant earlier when I-

Yeah

Mm

... are showing right now.

And I think that Steve Cooper, Carlos Corberán, they are gonna be the player, the, the managers, sorry, that get linked with every time a team-

Yeah

I hope you're right, my mate.

Carlos Corberan's available as a manager.

Do you think he will come to Chef United, boys? Carlos Corberan?

No from me.

I think he might.

There were so many names banded about.

I mean, one there was like Cooper, and then there was Grant from Walsall, uh, Corberan.

And I'm only surprised I didn't actually hear someone seriously ask about Ainsworth.

But I think the worry about Alexander is if we are supposed to be going places which we're led to believe, um, would a successful businessman really go for someone like Alexander? Surely if he's gonna come in the club, he's gonna want to make a statement.

Have we had any sackings yet? We have, of course.

Carlos Corberan was sacked by Valencia.

Oscar Sanchez is the current caretaker.

So early season, Barca running away with it and looking likely to make it three in a row.
