Apparently what came to light when these things were said, Elliot Page had brought a spotlight to it, was that Carl Lentz, not Lynch.

I got some shit on the brain.

Carl Lentz came under fire in 2015.

He was saying that homosexuality is a sin and that a gay member of a church could never hold a leadership position at all.

It also came out that when two male choir members of the church had got married, Brian Houston, who is the global senior pastor, had released some sort of statement against them, right? Granted, these are only two examples, but these two examples seem pretty anti-LGBT to me, right? Even if they happen to be members and they're gay, like, oh yeah, they were welcome.

There's, there's no one quite like you, and that is something I think a lot of people can learn from.

It's, it's something I told Carl Lentz as well, who, you know, was the famous Hillsong pastor who had the moral failure.
