We were taken to a room and we were interviewed by then Director of the Office of Naval Engineering Hal Bowen Sr.

He told us that We expect the Japanese will attack Pearl Harbor within 48 to 72 hours, and we consider you people to be too valuable to send back there, so stay in San Francisco, which we did.

We have a lot to talk about.

And of course, Lieutenant Colonel British Army retired Tim Wilson with us from Project Sentinel to talk about some of the interesting national security and domestic issues we have facing us.

And it was McKinley and Theodore Roosevelt swore by the book, the Germans, the British, everybody, and a... just an epic book about naval power and sea power and if an empire is going to actually last and what the plan is.

So again, the last six or eight months have been absolutely transformational for me.
