Captain Hammer

In the midst of this turmoil, with no work to be done, director Joss Whedon, best known for his work on Buffy the Vampire Slayer, for his contributions to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and for his workplace harassment, got together with his brothers and a few friends to write the cult classic online musical comedy Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog, which was released in July of 2008 after the strike had ended.

Dr. Horrible stars Neil Patrick Harris in the titular role, a wannabe supervillain whose evil plans are constantly foiled by his nemesis, Captain Hammer, played by Nathan Fillion.

Captain Hammer is all brawn and no brain.

He is brash.

He lacks nuance.

Thus far, Dr. Horrible has been too nervous to strike up a conversation

with her.

During one of Dr. Horrible's schemes, Captain Hammer causes a van that Dr. Horrible had been controlling remotely to almost run Penny over when he punches the remote control and causes malfunction.

So explain to me what happened in the Dr. Horrible part.

He did Dr. Horrible, and Captain Hammer was in there as well.

Really? And then Penny, who was dead in Dr.

Horrible, was in the video, which was kind of awkward.

I heard that

Captain Hammer was on the scene, but he picked up a random chick and went off with her instead.

And, um, and then it was, it would go back and forth between his blog and these little, like, bits where he's try- he's falling in love with this girl from the laundromat, but he's also trying to destroy Captain Hammer, Nathan Fillion.
