Freeze is a Batman villain.

Flash should be fighting Captain Cold.

You're in a comic book, but you have to deal with all the quotidian stuff that actually you never see in a comic book.

That's, like, the uniting thing that all of us found funny was...

You know, like he doesn't have time to hear their life stories.

You want protection.

You fought against Captain Boomerang, Captain Cold, and Captain Nazi.

Hey, those were all formidable enemies.

He's dead, but not his dad.

Um, so all that felt familiar being thrown into a situation like that where I don't know everyone per se, or, oh, look, it's Leonard Snart, uh, Captain Cold, but they're calling him Citizen Cold.

Like I could, you know, a lot of it I could pick up on.

Um,

When they did collect them, there was, um, Flashpoint, as I said, Batman Night of Vengeance by Azzarello and Russo.

There's Flashpoint, Dead Man and the Flying Graysons by J.T. Krull and Mike Yannon.

You got Flashpoint, Citizen Cold, written and drawn by Scott Collins.

You got Flashpoint, Deathstroke and the Curse of the Ravager by Jimmy Palmiati and drawn by Joe Bennett.

Yep.

Leonard Snart.

Captain Cold.

Captain Cold.

His role as Michael Schofield in Prison Break earned him a Golden Globe nomination for Best Actor in a Television Series Drama.

He recurred as Leonard Snart slash Captain Cold on The Flash before becoming a series regular on the spin-off Legends of Tomorrow.

He made his screenwriting debut with the 2013 film Stoker.

I hadn't realized that he wrote Stoker.

I put shadows and different things back in, 'cause it's Solomon Grundy, so it's scary and it's monsters and all that stuff.

Um, I put in, uh, shadows and, um, soft gray tones and doing stuff when I did Omega Flight, or when I did Citizen Cold.

And again, I was trying for this different pseudo, kinda more realistic style of, of artwork that was going on.

Um, with lots of shadows and renderings and all sorts of things going on.

No one had the ability to do it at the time.

So then I went back to the majors and did what I needed to do to, again, keep learning, keep doing things.

Which was perfect in a way too, because within, what, you know, uh, five, seven years of that, um, was when I got those opportunities, um, uh, later on at DC Comic books, where I did Solomon Grundy, and I got to write and draw that book, or I got to write and draw Citizen Cold and all those things, where I, even DC was seeing me, going like, "Oh, we could hand him stuff." I got handed that, um, uh, Magog series, uh, right at the end after Keith Giffen was done.

It was handed to me as a monthly series that only lasted about three issues.

Yeah, and he's played by the Prison Break guy, and he's got a prison break again.

He would also end up being Captain Cold in the CWDC show.

Oh, I didn't know that.

Captain Cold, and the other guy from Prison Break was Heatwave.

Oh, okay.

Yeah, so it was kind of fun when they would team

It's not a complete list, but it's the list that rings loud to me.

Black Canary, Hawk Girl, Beast Boy, Zatanna, Kyle Rayner, Red Arrow, Cheetah, Batwoman, Metallo, Doomsday, Swamp Thing, John Constantine, Kid Flash, Captain Boomerang, and Captain Cold.

And, of course, Batman being one of the titular characters, having the Arkham villains.

John and his partner Slam Bradley encounter the Batman while pursuing a lead on a cult who intend to sacrifice a young boy, while retired hero-turned-boxer Ted Wildcat Grant defends his world title for the last time.

The afterparty turns into a robbery as Captain Cold arrives and targets reporter Iris West.

Thankfully, her husband, Barry Allen, now going by the Flash, defeats Cold and saves Las Vegas from becoming a frozen wasteland.

In attendance are war veterans Hal Jordan and Ace Morgan, who part ways and take very different paths following this event.

Morgan is involved in a plane crash with Matthew Ryan, Rocky Davis, and Walter Haley, who, inspired by their survival, become the challengers of the unknown.
