So if you are in a spot that normally sees coastal flooding on the beaches, north and south of Boston, by the way, you might be having to deal with that again this time.

Winds gusting anywhere from 50 to 60 mile an hour on the coast, especially north and south of Boston, right there on Cape Ann, Cape Cod, south shore, south coast, Cape and Islands.

And then, of course, we are expecting lots of rain, one to three inches out there at the very least.

If you're north and west of Boston, you will see some wind and will see some rain.

I wish here to place on record that Plymouth can make good bread.

I had begun to fear, so long had I been fed on Cape Ann saleratus, that I might lose the taste of wholesome yeast and flour, just as the marasmus denizens of the Five Points learned to dislike pure air.

A brief heaven of good city bread in blessed old Boston quite set me up, and its unexpected appearance in Plymouth was more than I dared to hope.

I presume to this I may attribute the number of hale-looking, cheerful old people in Plymouth.

Ipswich, whose Indian name was Agawam, is located on the north side of Cape Ann, about thirty miles from Boston, and fronts on Ipswich Bay.

You will remember that various unforeseen delays prevented the Mayflower from sailing around the stormy point called Cape Cod until too late in the season to undertake the passage of another cape, which was Cape Ann, and this delay compelled them to settle on the miserably poor, sandy soil around Plymouth, where the limited harvest of Indian corn almost drove them to seek another location, and where frequent starvation came very near exhausting their determination and perseverance.

Agawam possessed large areas of fertile, cleared acres of rich, black soil, adapted to corn-growing, where the Indian tribes had once lived in plenty.

It was the intention of the mate of the Mayflower to land at Agawam, where he vouched for the beauty and fertility of the neighborhood.

There's, how about, you know, help organizations like Town Green or others small ways of supporting because every bit of engagement people do I mean it sounds sort of cliche or trite but it's true like that's how you build a movement so that's what we need to do with the next generation is build a movement where people actually know yeah my environment where I live on the North Shore and Cape Ann is important and I know how to do something about it that's the hope and then you know people say well show me what have we done that made things better Well, I'll tell you, last year we removed a dam.
