Canyon–SRAM

So...

I want to talk about the official ones first, Patrick, starting off with Little Trek, who just announced the transfers of Kasia Niviadoma, coming from Canyon SRAM, Arlene Sierra from Movistar, Ali Wollaston from FDJ Suez, Julia Kopetsky from SDWorks ProTime, and already a mid-season transfer, if I recall, from Blanka Vosch from SDWorks ProTime.

And...

I was a bit confused by the press release around the Blanka Vash one, because I swear it said from SDWorks' standpoint that the relationship didn't turn out the way they expected.

So let's, let's pivot here.

It's your first year on AF moving from the Canyon SRAM squad.

It seems like a really tight knit group.

How have you found that shift?

... yeah, so I saw she's been, um, actually riding with the Canyon SRAM.

We were thinking she was one of the favorites to win, but she came down in a crash along with a few others.

In the end, it was Chiara Consoni of Canyon SRAM who won, but EF Education Oatley's Alex Volstad was an oh-so-close second.

Her team worked really hard throughout the day.

It's probably not the result they ultimately were after, but it was an amazing performance by the Calgary rider.

Sophie van Rooyen moves away from that team and over to Human Powered Health, while Dutch star Shirin van Anrooy is also making a big move.

After spending all of her career so far with Lidl Trek, she signed a three-year contract with Canyon Sram.

Well, just over three years, actually, because she's moving on the 1st of November, presumably with an eye on the cyclocross season.

All contracts should start on the 1st of November, though, as far as I'm concerned.
