Yeah, replying to Rob asking, he says things like the light, aperture, speed, f-stop, they don't come naturally to him.

But I'm, I'm, I'm not, I'm mainly a phone camera guy, but I do have a Canon EOS starter DSLR thing, and if I do want to use it, I chicken out every single time, and I put it in auto.

And I'm presuming that almost every DSLR has a full auto mode.

So if he doesn't have any specific knowledge of those parameters, surely, Rob, just carry on take... leave your f- DSLR in auto mode and then just enjoy it.

Um, uh, what's she...

How, how would, would she respond to some of these points about cameras and phones?

She's tried everything, and it's really fascinating 'cause she started off obviously on a phone camera, then she w- did, um, photography A level, so she got all in with the, the, this Canon EOS DSLR and got to know it pretty well.

And then she's back to phones.

I got a few stories for you.

Let's start out with the Canon EOS R8 Mark II.

Yeah, that was announced since the last time we've talked.

It looks like it was a nice improvement over the first version of the camera.

Andy Westlake wrote this up and he's a well-seasoned reviewer.

Let's dip into a little bit of what he has to say.

The Canon EOS R8 Mark II is the latest model in Canon's entry-level line of full-frame mirrorless cameras.

As an update to the EOS R8 from 2023, it slots into the firm's lineup between its predecessor and the most advanced EOS R6 series models.

So this is a Canon EOS 1N.

Look at the beautiful smooth lines.

And then this is a Nikon F5.

I've got an Ioptron HAE29EC mount with a dual saddle that me and my dad built.

And on top of that, there's going to be a Canon EOS-RA mount.

I cannot wait to use it on my 28-70mm f2 RF lens.

All right, and number three is what is a photography-specific product that you like to use?

Yeah, I love the, uh, Canon EOS, um, R5, uh, Mark II.

Mm-hmm.

It's, uh...

I think I shot, I think I shot maybe about 10 rolls, maybe at the most, at the very, very most actually, and I had two cameras.

I had a, a Canon EOS, and I had my Contax G2.

And so I was...

I, the G2 got, took a, took a hit when I fell down the stairs.

Your more manual things take on your walks with your family or your friends.

But on a wedding day when you got to move quickly, especially if you're shooting digital too, There are so many good cameras with good autofocus, even like the Nikon F-Series, Canon 1Vs, EOS 3s, I have a Contax G1 and G2.

That's kind of like the class I want to give where it's like film doesn't have to be hard, basically film for wedding professionals.

So anyways, and then how do you price it? I used to have it as an add-on where...

Okay.

Seven, let's see, where did eight, nine and 10 go? Okay, can you talk about the best gear for getting into film as an add-on for weddings? I would again say like things that are easy, like cameras that are easy to use.

If you just want to have it as an easy add-on where you're pulling it up, but you're not like a film pro, I would say those cameras I listed are great options like Canon EOS 3, Canon 1V, Fuji GX645, Contax G1 or 2s, if those are in budget, those are expensive and you don't need those.

Nikon F series, things that you could run and gun, let it auto focus, let it choose your shutter speed if you had to, but you also can use it more manually if you wanted to.
