Cannon Mountain Ski Area

It's probably gonna take a little bit.

Um, but we did Cannon Mountain yesterday in the White Mountains, and if you look online, the foliage is peak.

Huh.

It was beautiful.

Um, I saw a bunch of like, um, news reports.

So for people that aren't familiar, artist bluff is like the, it's basically like the, the ledges above the parking lot at Canon that overlooks, uh, what is that? Uh, echo lake.

Is that what they call that?

Uh, that, that's, yeah, that's Echo Lake.

You go to the top there and you see a big sign that says New Hampshire State Park.

And when you go to Cannon Mountain, Cannon and the Flume Gorge, they are also New Hampshire State Parks.

And as you guys know, we're IndyPass people.

Cannon's on the IndyPass and they're in New Hampshire State Parks.

Owl's Nest Resort is in Thornton, New Hampshire, but people that know the White Mountains will know it as the same exit as Waterville Valley off Interstate 93.

So we are one mile off of exit 28 and just 10 miles to Waterloo Valley and just 14 miles to Loon Mountain and about 18 miles to Cannon Mountain.

So we're square in the middle of three of the best skiers in New England.

And Tenney Mountain is now making a comeback.

And look, none of that retroactively proves that Floyd acted unlawfully when he shot Leeko, but his history helps explain why Leeko's family and a lot of residents in Franconia were unwilling to accept the simple image of, like, a heroic passerby trying to save- The wounded cop, right? Bruce McKay's death devastated his family, including his nine-year-old daughter.

He was supposed to be married that upcoming July on Cannon Mountain, but instead, hundreds of officers and firefighters traveled to Franconia to honor him after his death.

Liko's family held a different kind of memorial on the Tamarack property.

Hundreds attended, despite some pretty bad weather.
