Cannibal Apocalypse

But he is played by Giovanni Radici, who lived 1954 through 2023.

We previously talked to him, talked about him in our episode on Cannibal Apocalypse, which was partially filmed in Decatur, Georgia.

So another Italian Georgia zombie movie.

Hometown favorite.

I want to see all Italian zombie films that were made in at least partially in Georgia now.

I feel like I have a responsibility to do so.

But so this was the same year as Cannibal Apocalypse.

Yeah.

You didn't mention Matt Jake's other son, Roy, played by Ralph Pruitt Vaughn.

Oh, he's in a movie called Cannibal Apocalypse in 1980.

Oh, I know that one.

You know that one? Yep.

See? He was only in six films, but his first feature was Cannibal Apocalypse in 1980.

Interesting.

Good

I remember that, that, um, um, poster and the th- the trailer scared the shit out of me as a kid.

Speaking of cannibal movies, Cannibal Apocalypse came out that year.

Cannibal Host- [chuckles] Cannibal Holocaust came out.

The scary ghost movie, The Changeling, also came out.

I'm considering the special effect in...

Cannibal Apocalypse, the Antonio Margheriti film where we look through, we can see through a particular, Radice, we can see through Radice's chest.

Yes.

But unfortunately, the special effect in this sequence that is clearly supposed to be some kind of showstopper.
