Candy Shop

That's what's up, man.

I seen that you had creative input on the Candy Shop B and the Lean Back beats.

Can you talk about that a little bit? Well,

anytime I work with Scott Storch.

You know, Scott is the type of guy that you can tell him, you can hear something.

If you go, whatever, he could play it.

So, you know, whenever I collaborate with him, whether it's Get It Pop and Lean Back or Make It Rain and Candy Shop, we made it for me.

And then when I left the studio, 50 Cent just so happened to go in there.

The sound from the From the Block performance video is used in 27,000 videos on TikTok, mostly playing with the male-female call and response in the chorus.

In practice, it's kind of like if Black Youngsta made Candy Shop by 50 Cent.

And a little more stats on Gangster Bitch with 5,300 high-reach creates up 7,000%.

And number three on US Shazam, it's this week's fastest emerging signal.

Do you remember when you'd buy a single and you'd put it into your PC and it'd have like added features? There would be like little multimedia features, like maybe a girl's allowed game or like a music video or something you could watch.

Well, I bought Candy Shop by 50 Cent when I was a young child and I put that up on the large PC screen again.

Naked women covered in chocolate.

And I was like, get this out, get this out.

Question 2.

In the 2005 hit song Candy Shop by 50 Cent, which type of candy is mentioned in the chorus lyrics? Question 3.

Which new metal band released the hit album Hybrid Theory in 2000 containing the hit songs In The End and One Step Closer? Question 4.

On Usher's hit song, Yeah, released in 2004, which two rappers provide guest vocals? Question 5.

Good job.

So we got Candy Rain by Soul For Real.

We got 50 Cent's Candy Shop.

And we got YZ Tootsie Roll.

Okay.

I am shocked Will Smith's Candy is not on here.

Every single lyric of that song is... candy names like do you know this song i don't know that song okay tom you're i need to play that as the outro for this episode if i'm allowed to um he starts talking about like his girlfriend peppermint patty like everything is just it's super gimmicky but it was on the same like uh it's just the two of us that whole album was they had that song it was like this weird seaside song on it um okay sorry i just thought for sure that was gonna be on there that i got blinded to everything else candy rain

Candy Shop and Tootsie Roll.

This one's hard.

But whenever 50 Cent is on screen, it's playing his music from the 2000s.

Has it got Candy Shop? It doesn't have Candy Shop.

It has Many Men is the one.

And he's such a presence in there that he can bend the space-time continuum and allow his own music from the future to exist.

He had a couple commercial joints on Massacre that was nice.

I didn't like Candy Shop.

Disco Inferno? I like Disco

Inferno.

[laughs]

That's actually, um, my, Claire's ringtone is, on my phone, is Candy Shop.

Oh, oh, yeah.

[laughs]

Yeah.

That was my, that was my basketball song.

Before every game I would listen to Candy Shop on repeat.

Don't know why.

They took Tupac's vocals, put it with 50s, with Eminem.

I forgot which album that was, right? Candy Shop, You Don't Like 50.

That was his commercial track.

That was his commercial track.
