Canberra Symphony Orchestra

Uh, the original idea was I was asked, um, if Hollis could write a, a flute concerto for me, and I've actually just recorded a CD...

Well, sorry, album we should say these days, an album of Australian flute concerti for me with the Canberra Symphony Orchestra.

So I thought, I wondered if she was open to something a little bit more eclectic, which is, uh, myself with an orchestra of flutes, but not just regular flutes, all of the flute family.

The regular flute family, so you know, your piccolo, C flute, alto flute, bass flute, contrabass flute, plus, um, venu, shakuhachi, ocarina, uh, kena, because the people who'll be playing with me are my former students.

Once a month I catch up with my friend Sam.

I go to the Canberra Symphony Orchestra with my friends.

Every year I go bushwalking and camping.

Cameron's Colour Crew is my microboard.

Wonderful.

And we also had joining us was a young harpist who now plays viola in the Canberra Symphony Orchestra.

A young fellow called Alex Bondrow.

He added just much to our performance.
