Canal du Midi

Thank you for the trees and the woodlands you have made.

the wow of the majestic line of plane trees reflected in the Canal du Midi.

Thank you for those men and women who fought with courage the wildfires raging this summer.

We pray that the lessons may be learnt about climate, about policy and practice, about community resilience so that the woodlands you created may thrive.

And then I ended up walking to the Canal de Midi.

And I was like, oh my gosh, I didn't realize the Canal du Midi came here, which that's my bucket list is to do a barge cruise on the Canal du Midi.

And it was crazy because parts of it looked like being in Cuyahoga Valley National Park on the towpath.

Oh, that's cool.

And so that was really cool to get to like compare the two.

That's really neat.

And there was a lock that I got to see too on the Canal du Midi because it still has operating like working locks.
