One inspector agreed under oath that Health Canada was basically receiving constant communications that their activities were leading to suicides.

We had Mr. Ron Lajeunesse, who is the head of the Alberta branch of the Canadian Mental Health Association, no connection with Health Canada, no connection with True Hope, who was publicly blaming Health Canada for suicides of Canadian Mental Health Association members.

Now, this gentleman used to run the province of Alberta's mental health programs.

He's a heavy hitter.

This matters, right? Look up.

The, I always mix it up, Canadian Mental Health Association.

Every chapter of the Canadian Mental Health Association has in-person events.

There is one on Tuesday, September 15th at Durham College.

It's called the Canadian Mental Health Association Durham Safety Expo.

It runs from 1 to 3 at Durham College.

Literally, it's just a broad spectrum multivitamin.

And... obviously different than many because it's bioavailable and it's balanced and that's what creates the results but all it is it's the same ingredients that you would find in in something like maybe even centrum i'm not even going to compare it to centrum centrum will not provide you won't even see any effect on mental health but the point is is that the actual ingredients are just those ingredients put into the proper balance proper form and your body can use them so health canada comes in and they they try to shut it down and it resulted in suicides Literally, the head of the Alberta chapter of the Canadian Mental Health Association, Ron Lejeunez, he warned Health Canada about their actions and said, I know people that are going to suicide if you do not stop doing this, if you do not allow this back across the border.

Well, we fast forward about two years and we find ourselves in court.

Health Canada had charged us criminally.

That's really, really backwards when you take a look at this.

So we end up in the courts.

And now Ron Lejeunesse, the head of the Alberta chapter of the Canadian Mental Health Association, is testifying that he personally attended two funerals from people that had committed suicide due to what Health Canada had done.

Now that's just one individual with people that he knew personally How many people did we see across Canada that would have done that? We don't know.

More than 88% of Canadians filled out the census online this year, more than ever before.

The Canadian Mental Health Association is launching a new resource to help municipal election candidates better understand the challenges facing their communities, as well as support their mental health.

The CMHA briefing room includes wellness tips to help navigate demanding campaigns, as well as practical information about mental health, addictions, and homelessness.

It will show candidates how they can take action to address issues and where broader provincial and federal support is needed.

And the question that we ask to all of our guests is, do you have a favorite source of data or source of information about our culture, maybe about mental health that you follow and that you think our listeners should be paying attention to as well?

I mean, you know, I was a spokesperson for CAMH, the Canadian Association for Mental Health, and then there's the Canadian Mental Health Association.

I would say anything that has data research that's science-backed when it comes to, you know, the neurobiology of who we are and to understand ourselves.

Definitely not little clips on Insta.

It's available 247 across Canada, and it provides immediate support without judgment.

And organizations like the BDC and the Canadian Mental Health Association also have resources tailored specifically for entrepreneurs.

Right.

But beyond immediate crisis intervention, how do we structurally fix the exit planning process itself?

uh, you know, it's, it's, it's, it's giving back.

So, you know, donating to them and the Philharmonic, uh, and, and, uh, uh, Supercrawl and other arts organizations, um, as well as to other charitable groups like, you know, Good Shepherd, the YWCA, um, was on the board of the Canadian Mental Health Association, um, who, you know, do this incredible work in our community.

And I, I'm giving, you know, giving back, uh, By doing work for them now and reduced fees, things like that, I think it's really important to give back.

Somehow, through all of this...

So it's a great night, and plus the whole point of it is to raise some money for this year.

The money is being split between the Canadian Mental Health Association and Camp Bromble, which is a cop camp essentially for kids every summer that we run.

And it's one of the most amazing things that you can be a part of.

Yeah, that's a great thing for grade six students and learning values and influences.
