Canadian Geographic

So I was, uh, I was a newspaper reporter in England for a year on j- on a regular newspaper, not a, you know, nothing to do with science.

But then also I worked as an editorial assistant at Canadian Geographic magazine in Ottawa as like a, a co-op term when I was in my undergrad.

And I, I think the Na- the Canadian Geographic thing came after being a reporter, and I, I just, I enjoyed being in that editorial, [lip smack] I don't know, kinda headspace, I guess.

Uh, and so, you know, got this, got this internship through my undergrad advisor at, uh, at Canadian Geographic, and it was, it, it was great.

I, I did this sort of a little research project for the, for the editor at the time.

And yeah, it was a, it was a really great experience to be in s- doing something that's so completely different from, you know, what a typical geoscience or, or, you know, kind of physical science, um, student does when they graduate.
