What's the theme park called again? Oh, Canada's Wonderland.

The one I use a lot because one of the things that I do is that we go to Canada's Wonderland, which is like a theme park near Toronto.

And so when you get on a roller coaster, you'd like you drive or you go so fast that you're scared.

So I get my practice in with that.

It felt like I was, you know, when you get off a roller coaster at Canada's Wonderland and then on the drive home, you feel like you're still on the roller coaster.

From humble beginnings as a character performer at Canada's Wonderland, Troy is now one of the fastest growing internet sensations with videos of his horror creature-inspired characters acquiring over 60 million views in just weeks.

And they actually have a really great track record for safety on their rides, which makes this whole event that happened this past week greatly tragic because it's unusual.

B&M also created rides like Leviathan and Behemoth at Canada's Wonderland, as well as Yukon Striker.

These are all super popular rides.

I think that Behemoth and Leviathan are referred to as hypercoasters.

And I forget the name for the Yukon Striker ride, but it has that big drop.

Anyway, something went very wrong on this ride called Goliath at Six Flags Over Georgia.

And as a result of that, it impacts us around here in southern Ontario because at Canada's Wonderland, Leviathan and Behemoth have both been closed down out of an abundance of caution, according to the park officials.

Now, the reason for the closure seems to be centered around the restraint.

this is being taken seriously of course by a lot of other parks uh beyond six flags georgia across the six flags chain and also other chains that have similar roller coasters uh there have been shutdowns uh just to really briefly review them uh first of all there is another goliath at another six flags park that is six flags magic mountain um however uh that is a completely different manufacturer completely different model just happens to share the same name they did shut it down briefly for an inspection but they reopened it um however uh goliath in georgia was a b&m hyper coaster and there are quite a few of those that are currently closed across the country um That includes Raging Bull at Great America, Nitro at Great Adventure, Diamondback at King's Island, Orion in King's Island, Leviathan at Canadian Wonderland, also Behemoth at Canada's Wonderland, Fury 325 Carowinds, and Thunderstrike at Carowinds.

These, we've got a kind of a detailed list kind of describing the history of all of these coasters, their statistics, and we'll update you as these are inspected and uh, possibly reopened.

Um, you also got, uh, Goliath, uh, had a clone at La Ronde, uh, which is no longer owned by Six Flags.
