Campos Racing

My name is Del Motto, I will be your host for today and joining me are Seb Tirado, our EuroCup3 editor, Archie Harper, Euroformula and Freck editor, as well as Marco Albertini, who is our Brazil Net4 and USF Juniors editor.

So first of all, we're going to be starting with Campos Racing, the defending team champions who have announced an all-Latin American lineup with Mate Konnagi, Ernesto Rivera and Salim Hanna.

They got on pretty well on testing.

They were the team that completed the most laps during Tuesday, the first day of testing.

Um, so his run of form over the last two races hasn't been great, but he's still...

Uh, you know, that, that's what allowed Camara to jump into that number one spot, right? With two races left, does he push that? Because Campos Racing is still, uh, in number one position right there as far as the team goes.

So, does Solov push right there now that Rafa has that spot? And he will- he won't be in F2 because...

And this is the thing, this is the drawback on it, is that if Solov does finish, uh, you know, in that, in that, in that number one spot, he no longer has a spot in F2.

I mean, he doesn't strike me as that kind of driver.

But-

Um, and I think that really helped me to adjust.

The following year in 2023, you had a very successful season in Spanish Formula 4, which you competed with Campos Racing.

You then went on to take a total of five wins and eight further podiums throughout the 21-race season.

But I have to highlight your maiden race win in race two at Aragon.

Uh, [laughs] but yeah, I'd say I, I missed out a bit because I, I, I think I, if I had to do that season again, I would probably move all the work that I did in mid-sum- mid-season to, of course, before the season started.

Yeah.

And then the next series you tackled was, of course, Eurocup-3, and you stayed with Campos Racing.

So did the team continuity sort of help you with your transition from Formula 4 to Formula Regional?
