But I do think that's interesting in the sense that it, again, brings Mexico more in line with the way MLS operates.

As these two leagues understand, like League Cup, some of the other things they've done, the Campeones Cup, everything that is tying Mexico to MLS.

is this clear recognition that the only way for us to level up so that we can even dream, much less achieve, the idea of being on the same level as any of the top European leagues... is to you know leverage our combined strength right we can't do it alone we need to do it together that leaves so many of those other cap nations out in the cold and just again cuts against this idea that there's some integrity to any of these competitions when mls and mexico get together and do this stuff and now it looks like this thing could die with a whimper i i'm old enough to remember superliga like i don't know i remember stuff like that jeremiah
