When we were doing the pre-interview for this show, my soon-to-be guest said something that really stuck with me, and I thought it would be an appropriate way to sort of start out this segment, and that is that everybody hears about Camp Mabry two times a day, at least, when they hear the weather, but how much thought do you actually give into it? How much thought do you actually give into the military base that is in your backyard and...

How much thought do you give into the history of what has happened with that military base and what has happened with the kind of the armed services here in Texas? Well, guess what? We're going to have a conversation about that with Jeff Hunt, who is from the Texas Military Forces Museum.

If you want to check out anything we're about to talk about, go to texasmilitaryforcesmuseum.org.

They are located on Camp Mabry.

You can find out a lot of information on their website, but we're going to cover some of it here.

Welcome to the show, Jeff.

And I know yours is a little different because it's on a military base and it's not like a natural history or science or something like that museum, but it is still a museum that operates here in Austin.

It is on

Camp Mabry.

So we do need to preface this with If you are coming from out of the country, you will not be able to get onto the Texas Military Forces Museum.

Correct.
