Camp Grafton

Senator John Hovland will join us.

Big announcement yesterday related to a Project Atlas that is about some exercises that are going to be taking place between the Grand Forks Air Force Base, Camp Grafton, and also the development of an unmanned aircraft ground vehicle system for 20 years we've been talking about unmanned aerial systems and as of yesterday we're now talking about unmanned ground vehicle systems another acronym to get used to for crying out loud so Senator Hoban will talk about that and they are announcing today in fact they're putting the final touches on it in fact I think they've delayed things a little bit today because of it they are announcing a memorandum of agreement between the Department of War and the University of North Dakota, as well as the other entities that make up what's happening here.

So, as you can tell, a lot happening.

We're following the news of the day closely, watching some of the... amazing and impactful things that are sending our midterm election into, well, just every day there's something new.

So really exciting.

I got $2 million to start it off.

We're going to have an event next week at Camp Grafton where they're going to select the ground vehicle.

So Department of War has put out a request for proposal.

They're also announcing Project Atlas, as I mentioned, and that's where they...

But $2 million in funding being announced today, the Department of War, the North Carolina National Guard, with Camp Grafton, with NASA and UND providing the unmanned aerial systems and the ground system vehicles, give us the opportunity.

of capabilities that protect and defend our best and our brightest.

So that's extremely important and being announced right now.

A lot of this effort and testing, I guess, if you will, of some of these systems have been taking place at Camp Grafton with the Department of War and the North Dakota National Guard.

So good news happening from Grand Forks today in the UAS.

Back to the question of the day.

So very interesting.
