So I'm Cameron Ballantyne.

I'm the director of operations for Recovery Friendly Workplace here in Utah.

My background is in nonprofit management.

I was with the American Red Cross for 25-plus years, and then have worked in the nonprofit space throughout the country.

But one of the main roles I had at the Red Cross was teaching disaster mental health, both for volunteer staff members and then those affected by natural or man-made disasters, and how that translated in the workplace and in those what we called gray sky moments, where horrible things have happened.

How do we respond? How do we react? How do we help when people really needed it? And ultimately, for us, it's really breaking down that stigma here in Utah that there are people in recovery.
