All right, James, where do we wanna start?

I mean, if we go straight 40-man, it's-- we're gonna be talking about relievers like Cameron Weston and Xavion Curry.

So we probably wanna-

They gotta get some people off the 40-man roster, but they're, we've already picked out a few other guys to take off this 40-man roster, so like Cameron Weston, who's just below Weisenberger.

I don't know who that guy is.

It's still interesting stuff for the 30-year-old lefty.

And then the other guy who was DFA'd off the 40-man who was in AAA on Tuesday was right-handed reliever Cameron Weston, but he did not clear waivers.

He was claimed by the New York Mets, so he's another kind of Mets and Orioles guy.

Funky sidearm righty, owes eighth round pick out of Michigan in 2022.

But if he's not throwing any strikes, it's not going to work out.

So we'll see what the Mets can do with him.

But I like Cameron Weston, and I hope he can kind of make it in a big league bullpen.

And maybe it will be with the Mets, because I'm not sure if they're keeping him on the big league roster.

He'll probably get DFA'd again at some point.

here in September but because neither Luis de Leon nor Albert Suarez were on the Orioles 40-man roster before Tuesday and their 40-man was full they had to DFA two players and those were two pitchers who are now off the 40-man roster the first one is 26-year-old right-hander reliever Cameron Weston who has DFA'd an eighth round pick by the O's in 2022 was kind of a starter piggyback pitcher for most of his minor league time Orioles moved him to a short reliever in AAA this year Didn't go great.

Had a 7.89 ERA in 51 and a third innings for the Tides.

He did make his major league debut and pitched a scoreless inning for the Orioles back on May 28th.

Kate Povich has been optioned.

Cameron Weston has been designated for assignment.

Nick Riquet has been designated for assignment.

So I know a lot of people in the chat and just on Twitter and everything were kind of confused with all these different moves happening at different times, what added up.

Christian Franklin goes to the IL.

Cade Povich heads to AAA.

And Cameron Weston and Nick Riquet have been designated for assignment to make room on the 40-man roster.

Well, there you have it, and I'm sure we'll do a pop quiz because everyone probably had each of those moves down to a T. I sure as hell did not.

And I'm going to go with Miguel Ulola.

He's a starting pitcher.

He was actually just up with the Astros about a week ago and then sent down.

So he does...

But they've already trusted in him to bring him up once this year.

I can see them bringing him back as a depth piece in the starting rotation, spot starter, long reliever type innings.

So Miguel Ulola, starting pitcher for the Astros, is who I went with there.

All right, perfect.

On the pitching side for that extra roster spot, you're probably just adding one of the many relievers on the 40-man roster.

I kinda rank them in order as Yarmil Heraldo, Anthony Nunez, Cody Hoyer, Nick Raquet, Cameron Weston, uh, Yasfir Zuleta, and then Cameron Foster is injured right now, I believe, so he's not higher on that list.

There's maybe a chance we would see K. Povich or Trey Gibson come up, and the Orioles go to a six-man rotation, 'cause, you know, Brandon Young looks like he's starting to tire, throwing his most innings ever.

Kyle Bradish and Trevor Rogers kind of eclipsing workloads from the past couple of seasons.
