It's posted on GitHub, but it's not polished or released because I'm really bad about doing that.

MIPI DSI exists already, but the new things are MIPI CSI and Video Core.

um and this is up for review so this may change um here's the initialization sequence this is for the display so we start the display we give it these values this is all vibes by the way um if you're are an llm skeptic i suggest you try it all of this is just uh straight out straight out of an llm i don't think i even The only thing I had to change was the wild truth pass at the end.

It would fall off the end of the script and it'd stop working.
Scott ShawcroftHOST

The video from the camera to the screen.
Scott ShawcroftHOST

Um, this is the slow way, but it's more flexible.

So then we pass, then we create a MIPI CSI camera, we give it the sensor, and then we tell what output format we want.
Scott ShawcroftHOST

um and it actually this object is natively implemented but it does read fields on the sensor that's given so it does actually do python calls to read the width and height and the bear order the order of the color filters for processing raw images that all gets read implicitly by this camera class as as it needs it so when you construct it it will like check to make sure all the things it needs to read later it can read now as well um and then the new thing we have another new thing we have is video core so this is mirroring audio core and it gives us a video buffer so in this case what we're doing is we're doing a two byte uh two byte array buffer that is one per pixel and then we play the camera into that buffer Um, and then we add that buffer.

I'm currently doing two things at once.

I'm working on adding a generic MIPI CSI module for CSI cameras, starting with support for the ESP32 P4.
ScottHOST
15:12
And then I'm also working on re-implementing the DisplayIO API on top of LVGL, because like the P4, we want to start utilizing graphics accelerators within chips.
ScottHOST
15:27
And LVGL already does this.
