Camden Catholic High School

This isn't going to be a really long podcast.

I'm actually at Bishop Eustace in South Jersey because they're playing Camden Catholic, which, if you read my story on InsideTheBirds.com, James Bradbury, former Eagles cornerback, is an assistant coach there.

And I wanted to check out some Friday Night Lights as I'm pretty sure I'm not going to have a lot of those opportunities this season this Because I will be pretty busy.

But let's get to the most important information.

So I just saw James Bradbury the other day.

Remember I told you I had to go over to Camden Catholic High School football? I'm friends with the head coach.

I used to coach him.

Yes,

We're blaming the sodfather.

By the way, congratulations to James Bradbury, now an assistant coach at Camden Catholic.

How about that?

He's sticking

It has to do with an alma mater of yours, so you probably did.

But some exciting Camden Catholic news.

Oh, there it is.

As James Bradberry gets-

Yeah, so I was talk- [laughs] Believe it or not, James-

No way.

You were talking to somebody at Camden Catholic? [laughs]

The head coach of the football team-

Yeah.

In fact, I remember we were just talking about Camden Catholic High School football.

I remember when I used to play back in high school, we used to do in the summertime seven on seven against all the other high schools in the area.

I don't know if they still do it.

You went and played over like Barrington soccer and stuff.

After that, just from knowing people, got into Camden County College for two years, then went to Camden Catholic as an assistant.

And then during COVID, when they condensed all of the like playoff brackets and all that stuff and tried to make it more regional came to Catholic.

Somehow we had to go down to Alma, which I'd never heard.

that i really enjoy is called the season of success and it's about making every season you know a winning season whether you win or lose things like that and it taught and there's a bunch of examples but i'd like to hear you know when you know it's hey we might not get the results we need to get or it might be a struggle here how are we going to keep those players that again like really don't you know aren't the coming from high level club and you're teaching them hey we're trapped with our their instep here and still making that something where they're getting something out of this? What are the tactics that you're using for that throughout your season? You

know, that is a great actual question.

And to be honest, I think in the, like, last eight years, so between, like, Camden Catholic and OMA, I've been pretty fortunate, to be honest, that, like, I can't say, I can't say like I I've gone into a season where I've just flat out known like last, last year I probably had higher expectations than I, than I should have when I, as the season went on and I, and I thought about it, you know, I've talked to my wife cause we're like four and eight or four and nine.

And I'm like, man, like, what are we doing? What am I? And.
