Camariñas

Too hard to beat into, so we certainly didn't want to do that.

And so when that calmed down, we carried on sailing, and we stopped a bit before La Coruña in a little place called Camariñas, just for the night.

It's one of those nice rias there.

And actually, I was last there in 1973- Wow ... on our previous catamaran, Tahini.

And with Tahini we sailed an Atlantic circuit, and we'd been in La Coruña to do some work on the boat, and then the next stop was Camariñas, and it was really primitive still.

And, uh, and after that we went to Portugal, which was still under Salazar.

Ah.
