debut season reach the finals unfortunately it was a straight set exit for them but Essendon have looked so so sure of themselves in the last two months I actually had a look back at the last six weeks of team selection every week they've made five or six changes from the VFL names there's only been one or two the AFL side is the one that's been in and out through injuries and whatnot but Cam Joyce from the VFL side those core 10-12 players that do play they have looked very sure of themselves and very comfortable week in week out

Well, 10, 12 players, and then you get to finals and they've got 17 AFL-listed players in there, so it drops down to about six.

But those six are playing really good football.

Um, you know, certainly won't be easy, but the way they've played these past couple of months where they, they pretty much had to win their last five or six games in a row to, to make finals has been fantastic and, and make them a sneaky chance of going all the way.

You know, big credit to, to Cam Joyce, stepped into the role at, at the last minute after the unfortunate passing of Dale Tapping, and has done a, a really good job in, in, in building a, building a side that both the AFL and the VFL players have bought into.

You know, the VFL players themselves have, have really stood up and performed really well, particularly when they were carrying a lot more of the load earlier in the year.

And unfortunately, with so many AFL players available, there will be a lot of worthy VFL players who miss out, unfortunately.

So if y- you're keen to get down, you're gonna need to, to grab a ticket early 'cause you're probably not gonna be able to buy one at the gate.

And I think, you know, having a big raucous Essendon crowd is gonna be a, you know, the 24th man, um, that's really gonna help the Bombers get over the line in this one.
