Yeah, we had a g- a good time.

So what, uh, what happened in Kentucky, brother?

I, um, had the, uh, good fortune of joining my brothers and sisters for the Kentucky State Council meeting, which took place at, uh, the state park down there, Land Between the Lakes, Calvert City, Kentucky.

And, um, they had a great meeting, and it was very informative because of the nature of the delegates who attended.

But, uh, we were there for the, um, Tom Buffenbarger Memorial Skeet Shoot in honor, ra- fundraiser for Guide Dogs of America, an IAM charity founded, uh, I believe in 1948, to, to provide guide dogs to sightless people and, uh, give them a new sense of freedom in life.

Anyway, so other than that, things have been good, man.

We're getting ready for when this comes out on Friday, we will be neck deep in the River Folk Fest at Calvert City Memorial Park in Calvert City, Kentucky.

That's this coming weekend, October 2nd and 3rd.

Friday night is South Union Bluegrass Band is going to play.

We'll give you a 100% discount just to come join us.

Memorial Park is a beautiful little park that's there in Calvert City, and they've got it laid out just perfect for stuff like this.

Yeah, it is.

We promote this River Folk Fest that's coming up.

soon which we want to mention uh uh that's coming up october the second and third in calvert city kentucky so um be sure and make plans for that we've about got things well everything's really finalized it's just uh all the logistics and everything but um Yeah, it's going to be a great lineup.

It's a free festival, so come Friday night, there's just an open jam session at 5.30, and then the South Union Bluegrass Band from the Rosene, Kentucky area, like you mentioned earlier, they're going to play at 7, and then on Saturday, as everything kicks off at 11 a.m., we've got the square dancing folks from Murray, Kentucky are going to be there doing some square dancing, and Then Rebecca Frazier takes the stage at noon, and then Darren Nicholson band at 1.30. Josh and Don Rigsby will be taking the stage at 3 o'clock, and then Darren and Brooke Aldridge will be on right after them, somewhere around 4.30 or so.

Make plans to attend.

It's a great family festival, and they've got lots of things for the kids and jumpy houses and food vendors and arts and crafts vendors, and there's a little water park thing.

It's just a beautiful park right there in Calvert City.

It's called Memorial Park.

lived in Calvert City when I grew up and moved to Metropolis for, I think it was Two years.

And moved back.

That's where I've been since.

Oh, wait, wait, wait, wait.

I met my wife and lived down in Barbel after Calgary City.

Mm-hmm.
