Calon Lân

Um, but there's so many things I didn't know, like songs, uh, growing up that every Welsh language person I know, know the songs and know the history, and I'm like, "Well, I don't know any of these things." Um, so I think it just helped to strengthen like, you know, what I know of Wales and how Welsh I feel, I guess.

Once I then knew, like Calon Lân, iconic song, I didn't know the story.

I didn't know it was written on the back of a cigarette packet.

Like, all these things.

I hope you also, if you have been listening, uh, and watching, you will have noted that we have a, a new introduction to the podcast.

Uh, we, if you remember a few weeks ago, we did a little bit about the Calon Lan night that the Os, uh, Supporters Club did, uh, up in Trevoith there, and the history of that, and hopefully we'll hear that song ringing out at, uh, at the St Helens in, in the future.

So up...

And finally, obviously we've recognized the contribution to the area from, uh, Bonnie Tyler, so we're going out to Total Eclipse of the Heart.
