StephenGUEST
17:12
There's just something... really, really missing.
StephenGUEST
17:15
And players we brought in, like Callum Wright, looks like a prospect, but again, should we really be signing prospects? We tried that a few years ago with the likes of Melkerson.
StephenGUEST
17:23
Didn't really work.
StephenGUEST
17:24
We then went down the route of your Dwight Gales and things like that.
GeorgeGUEST
4:31
We lost a lot of our midfield players.
GeorgeGUEST
4:33
So we had Callum Wright in there, who came in from Plymouth and I think has now gone up to the Championship.
GeorgeGUEST
4:40
Matt Smith, who I think has just joined Stevenage.
GeorgeGUEST
4:44
We lost a lot of very good quality at the end of last season.

6 MINS LATER

GeorgeGUEST
10:52
I think we've shown great endeavour over the first five games.
GeorgeGUEST
10:58
But when you lose, as I said, Joe Taylor, I mean, the guy's going to go and bag probably 25 this season, I'd imagine at least.
GeorgeGUEST
11:05
Callum Wright, he's moved up.
GeorgeGUEST
11:07
Sam Tickle, who was our absolute star.
Paul ThorpeHOST
23:40
Also in that game, Chris Sadie, Matt Smith and Fraser Murray picking up yellow cards.
Paul ThorpeHOST
23:44
He also refereed the trip to Bradford on Boxing Day, where he dished out two red cards, Jenson Weir and Callum Wright, plus four yellow cards, and a winner for Bradford that came deep, deep, deep into stoppage time.
Paul ThorpeHOST
23:57
Hopefully a better performance from Seb this weekend.
Paul ThorpeHOST
23:59
He's card watched so far this season.
Callum DavidsonGUEST
9:56
They're just needing Jamie McGrath to get, h- hit his heights again, Nicky Cannon.
Callum DavidsonGUEST
10:00
Obviously, the quality he's got from that side, Callum Wright, he's your quality players, and they'll be looking for a little bit more from those guys to help them go and win games, 'cause I've seen them a lot this season.
Callum DavidsonGUEST
10:10
You know, they've been really good.
Callum DavidsonGUEST
10:11
Eh, today they weren't just quite at it.
Jack HarrisHOST
5:54
Nicky Cadden making his competitive debut this season, coming on as a sub for Josh Mulligan.
Jack HarrisHOST
5:59
Thibaut Clijet coming on, Callum Wright coming on, you know, David Gray sort of throwing the kitchen sink at it in a bid to make something happen.
Jack HarrisHOST
6:05
And there was a period of time where you thought something could happen.
Jack HarrisHOST
6:08
You thought there might be, you know, Hibs might get something out of it.
Patrick McPartlinHOST
8:10
He takes off...
Patrick McPartlinHOST
8:12
Callum Wright, he puts on Miguel Chaiber just to kind of shore up that midfield.
Patrick McPartlinHOST
8:15
And he puts on Adam Mayer as well.
Patrick McPartlinHOST
8:16
And, you know, Mayer obviously scoring the goal and coming close to adding more.
Patrick McPartlinHOST
15:27
He's played with them for years in the Hibs Academy, so there's maybe a little bit of Valakari thinking, well, they can link up again.
Patrick McPartlinHOST
15:36
but he's just somebody who he will want to be playing regular football at this stage of his career I think it's I think he's got maybe a year left on his contract at Hibs not 100% sure on that so don't quote me but I think he probably does want to be playing more regularly he'll be looking at especially Callum Wright coming in he'll be looking at Owen Eldon playing that number 10 role Jacob Devaney even coming in and just sort of forcing a change of shape.
Patrick McPartlinHOST
16:06
It's a bit difficult to see where he fits into this team from the start.
Patrick McPartlinHOST
16:09
And I think that's maybe, you know, that's maybe a bit of the challenge of for Hibs is sort of thinking about how can we, you know, how can we sort of give him the game time he wants? And if he can't, then it's understandable he would want to move on.
BarryGUEST
2:14
He refused to sign for us and he fancied a stab at the championship, but he's not got himself a club yet.
BarryGUEST
2:21
Callum Wright, who was our second top goal scorer, he was on loan from Plymouth, but out of contract, though, we all thought we were going to sign him, but he's gone to Ibsen.
BarryGUEST
2:33
And of course, we've lost Joe Taylor, who got a brace down at your place as really a top, top striker and very difficult for us to replace.
BarryGUEST
2:44
He's gone back towards the field and he's carried on with them where he left off with us.
CraigGUEST
4:17
And I think probably when he's seen the line-up come out and saying, no, Adam Mayer, I think that probably would have been the first sort of surprise.
CraigGUEST
4:26
But then seeing that there was McGrath, there was Wright, there was Boyle, and there was Lowe, all as a sort of front attacking line-up.
CraigGUEST
4:35
And I think that's probably what caught...
CraigGUEST
4:38
Dundee out especially in the beginning because they were a wee bit all over the place the press was all over the place and I think it was actually partly because of what we had in the front areas but also what Jacob Devaney's like what he brought to the middle of the park which then allowed Mulligan to do a little bit more and allowed Passlack to push a little bit higher so essentially we had low up the sort of he was just trying to occupy Astley and Bevan who were at centre half Boyle was on this side Wright was in this sort of left inside position but he did more than that it's a bit redundant to say that's all he did he did much more than that and then McGrath was out in a left wing back role and we spoke about last week how he played there you know he's had experience there before and he did brilliant out there when he has done but you sort of sometimes felt like it's a wee bit wasted having him out there when he could be doing so much more in the middle and What it allowed, obviously, Paslak, I think, committed and certainly played a lot higher.
CraigGUEST
5:37
I had a quick look at Huddle and Statsbomb and certainly Paslak was really influential on that right side.
CraigGUEST
5:44
I remember from last season how often, when you looked at the end of games, his average position was sometimes closer to the halfway line compared to, say, Nicky Caddins that would be up there.
CraigGUEST
6:37
And where it caused...
CraigGUEST
6:38
Dundee a lot of problems was because he Devaney's almost exclusively sat deeper to try and link on the ball I don't think they really got to grips with pressing the back three so they were trying to press the back three and he was just finding out Devaney was just getting us lots of space obviously because we had these guys as wingbacks Bevan and I think it's Charlie Riley on the other side they were getting pinned in here and obviously for Ryan Finnegan and Ethan Hamilton, who were deep, they were constantly getting overloaded because they were 3v2 in the middle in this position here, you can see.
TomHOST
22:15
For Hibs, Martin Boyle scored with an assist from Hanley.
TomHOST
22:19
And then Callum Wright scored as well.
TomHOST
22:21
Martin Boyle, the highest scorer at Hibs in Gaffer.
TomHOST
22:27
We kind of thought at the start of the season it was maybe a season too far for him, but he keeps doing it.
