California’s 27th Assembly District

Maybe we'll get into that as well, and I'm gonna ask you about, I guess you were supposed to have a debate tonight with your opponent, but that's not happening.

Republican candidate for the 27th Assembly District, Mike Murphy, continues with us for a few more minutes.

Um, appreciate the time, Mike.

Thanks so much for being here and, uh, giving us your message to the KMJ listener.

Thank you.

All right.

Mike Murphy, 27th Assembly District.

He's the Republican candidate going up against, uh, Fresno County Supervisor Brian Pacheco for that very important assembly seat.

Maria, by the way, isn't related to Brian.

Instead of standing for reelection, Brian Pacheco was recruited by state Democratic Party leaders to run for Assembly District 27, where he faces former Merced Mayor Mike Murphy.

Now let's talk a little bit about District 1.

It includes portions of West and Central Fresno, as well as the cities of Firebaugh, Kermit, Venota, and San Joaquin.

I hope people who are interested in these issues go, go more deeply on it because it is an important part of being, you know, an American citizen and a citizen of California.

And, and that's why we asked, uh, my assembly district member, uh, Esmeralda Soria, to come on and talk about how she felt how the session went, and she is the assem- my Assembly District 27.

She's running for State District 14.

She's chairman on the Ag Committee, and if you've listened to us forever, you've heard her multiple times.
