Uh, started in 1955 and has taken on various ownerships, various organizations running it.

Uh, for a long time it was a CBVA, one of my favorite CBVAs, uh, ever.

A huge shout-out to Kirk Morgan and Blair Applegate for running the show.

Um, I played a, a little part in helping them put some streaming stuff together for a little while.

When the CBVA ran it, it was real old school.

Like, we're talking fans on the court basically, good heckling crowd.

Um, seems like a pretty good split to get to the men's side.

Yeah, Stefan and Cam, were, they took a ninth, and Stefan's like, "Dude, there's just so many good Americans." When I used to write for Volleyball Magazine, and I would do previews for Manhattan and Hermosa and the AVPs, I would call them the CBVA All-Stars, where you just get these dudes who can just beat anyone.

I think Rick Cervantes and Jonah Schief, perfect example.

They come out, they play some CBVAs, phenomenal players, very talented.

Played some indoor, come out, they play beach.

They'll play on the weekends.

They'll play some CBVAs.

They can beat anybody.

But also there were 14 AVPs and 1,000 CBVAs that you played.
