Caleb Wheatland

Like, you don't know where the ball is, and with all the motions going around, uh, it's to try to get you out of your place, and that's where they hit you.

And with all the injuries Michigan State has at linebacker, uh, Jordan Hall is out, uh, um, Caleb Wheatland is out, and Brady Pretzoff is out for this game.

You know, your, your only true contributor that you have at linebacker available is Dion Crawford, and then it's Cam Stodgill and Demari Malone.

You know, Demari Malone's a younger guy.

Uh, Brady Pretzeloff has missed a game.

Caleb Wheatland has missed a game, and Dion Crawford has missed a game.

Your top four linebackers have all missed a game at some point, and multiple of them will may be out for this coming Saturday against Northwestern.

Uh, we'll have to see.

There's been moments where I've really liked him.

There's been moments where I haven't.

Same kind of goes for Dion Crawford and Cu- Caleb Wheatland.

I think consistency is a bit of a struggle with this group, but you have to hope that they get healthy sooner rather than later, uh, because, you know, uh, in late in that Illinois game, it was Cam Stodgill, uh, who they kind of want to use as a DB hybrid linebacker and DB, and Damari Malone, uh, kind of as your starting linebackers late in that one against the Fighting Illini, which, [smacks lips] you know, Malone's inexperienced.

You already had- you're already without Tyren Chappell, who's your, who's really your most reliable corner.

Uh, Caleb Wheatland is already out for this game.

Najee Burt was out for this game.

Keshaun Williams is out for this game.

You're gonna see design quarterback runs in this game, and if you, a lot of those linebackers on the injury report do not play, I think that's gonna be a problem 'cause that, like, inexperienced linebackers like Damari Malone, who would probably get snaps.

Uh, you'll, you'll have Caleb Wheatland for this game barring some sort of, you know, pre-game injury or whatever.

Damari Malone, a true freshman, Adam Shaw, I think that's gonna be really difficult on those guys if they're constantly having to worry about a design quarterback run, and that can lead to things over those linebackers' heads in the pass game or over the top.

Uh, and again, 'cause you're, you're just giving them a lot to think about there.

Now Brady Pretzloff, Dion Crawford, they are questionable.

Hopefully they can play, but if not, it's Caleb Wheatland, and then a redshirt freshman, Damari Malone, getting [laughs] the, the reins there.

Also Cam Stodgill ruled out for this game.

So I am nervous about linebacker injuries.

Graded out 87%.

And Caleb Wheatland played really well.

He had nine total tackles and graded out 85%.

Big playmaker in a kick game was Jack Janicek with that block punt.
