Caleb Navale

Yes, he's approaching the end of his career, but what that also means is his market value is coming down, so it won't break Melbourne's bank, but also it probably means he's more adaptable to the fact that he might just have a bench role in Melbourne, which is the sort of player they need moving forward.

And number four, Caleb Navale from the Eagles.

Let's say Eagles.

Yes, well, I really like Caleb Navale, a lock forward who is impressing as he works his way through the ranks.

You could probably argue he should have found more game time on the Northern Beaches by now.

The fact that he hasn't means that he's probably going to put himself in the shot window from November 1.

They do have some good players there and some good guys coming through the system as well.

Caleb Navale is one I'm really interested to see whether he re-signs beyond the end of 2027.

Yeah.

You know, you look at guys like Taniela Paseka and Ethan Bullemort, they've been around the traps and know what they're doing, but they're probably just a couple of players short of the full quota there in the middle.

Api Korosau, Jacob Saifidi was great.

But also, I thought Caleb Navale was the shining light for Fiji.

Only 22 years of age.

22 years old of Caleb Navale.

I thought he was terrific there for Fiji last week.

But I do think Australia win and win really big.

Tony Katoga and Caleb Navale.

Manly's Caleb Navale locking the scrum for Fiji.

He was outstanding last week at McDonald Jones Stadium with the bench of Josesi Lanyon and Mossi Ravossi, Elijah Keong, Ronald Filtoga, Jordan Liu, Pensi Dritti, Joseph Lititamu, Zion Johnson and Kylan Mafoa.

And that, ladies and gentlemen, is your week two team lists for the Rugby League 2026 World Cup.

Scored a cracking try.

You know, they've still got Tane Milne in the back row there, Katonga, Caleb Navale.

You have a look, though.

You go through the team and

Yeah, just the other games.

I thought Caleb Navale for Fiji was fantastic.

I thought Brandon Wakeham did a really, really good job as well.

The Cook Islands, they just haven't got much quality out there.

Scored a cracking try.
