Boston Center for the Arts

So I had the idea for this piece starting in, I would say, like, April or May of 2023.

There's a big residency, dance residency program at the Boston Center for the Arts, which is where I've been incubating this work for, since 2023, and they've been such a big supporter of this development.

Um, every year there's a call that goes out for their two dance residencies, and so I wanted to challenge myself to apply.

I had never made an evening length before, so that was a big goal of mine.

Um.

New England Foundation for the Arts is supporting this collaboration between, um, Mechanics Hall in Portland, Maine, and Boston Center for the Arts, where I have been developing this work.
