Calcutta

Yeah.

And, you know, Lawrence Welk, Calcutta.

It's like, what? Yeah.

It was amazing because, yeah, it was such a wide range of music that, you know, sometimes, you know, for example, I listen to Sirius XM and, you know, it'll be on the 60s channel and I'll hear stuff.

How did that even work? uh amazing and it seems like you know that's that's kind of a way that we kind of broadened our appreciation of music back then you know i don't think it's the same now certainly you know you're not hearing some things you know on the rap stations you don't hear well sure

Good news, boys.

We just beat Country John the Fish with Calcutta.

You know, it's like, okay.

His program reached tens of millions of Americans every week at its peak.

Lawrence Welk had a number one hit, and it was titled Calcutta.

Lawrence Welk received two Hollywood Walk of Fame stars, yep, one for television and one for recording.

He received the North Dakota's Roughrider Award.
