Remember, I was gonna bring this up anyways.

Remember, you know, uh, Junior dos Santos caught Cain Velasquez and knocked him out that first ever f- fight card on FOX.

Remember, it lasted like a minute.

We all still randomly send texts to each other and text messages to each other and just touch up on each other.

And, you know, you used to tell me, well, coach, you know, you keep saying loyalty, but all you keep talking is about my daddy standing fight as I go.

Well, unfortunately, yes, because outside of people like you, Mike Swick, Cain Velasquez, DC, I had no loyalty, bro.

a few other ones like Mogi Benitez and stuff.

But the majority of my American fighters didn't have the loyalty.

If I want to be specific, I'd say, yeah, Josh Thompson, Cain Velasquez, DC, Loyal, Loyal, Loyal.

But can I really say that about my other guys? Can you honestly tell me that?

No, we have our core group that we talk to.

i've seen the cage like fall apart during fights to to a full-on production i think they were on spike tv still at the time um to giant arenas you know my first my very first ufc fight after the ultimate fighter finale so the finale was in vegas at the palms okay which is like 2,000 people maybe, smaller.

The next one was UFC 121, I think, and it was Cain Velasquez versus Brock Lesnar.

Huge

fight.

Friday was a holiday.

It was when Brock Lesnar fought Cain Velasquez.

I'll never forget 'cause it was...

I had plans to go watch the fight, and I'm just tweaking out, bro, 'cause I'm on Xanax like crazy.

He fought in the UFC.

Two of his three losses were John Jones and Cain Velasquez.

So he was very much a professional fighter.

And he came down one year and did a clinic.

You don't have to be the guy that won the NCAA championship.

Go back years ago when Cain Velasquez was going to fight Brock Lesnar and people were going,

Brock was the

NCAA champion.

He'd just be short against guys who are better athletes.

Now, I don't want to make crazy comparisons, but I can think of a fellow, wasn't all that big for the heavyweight division, still had himself a lot of success, a fellow by the name of Cain Velasquez.

Wasn't a big heavyweight, but was a quick heavyweight, an athletic heavyweight with a well-rounded skill set.

So it can be done.
